When you hear something twice you pay atttention – but when something hits you from three different directions within the space of a few days you pay a lot of attention!
That was how it was with me during my last year at university….
The words were straight out of the Bible and I did not recall ever having heard them before – but they were powerful… They hit me between the eyes…
This what they said:
He died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again.
They came straight out of Paul’s writings to the church in Corinth many years ago – but they are still powerful to us today. I understood the logic and it became life-changing.
